LBS Welcomes Melanie Brown as Director of Ethics and Compliance

LBS recently welcomed Melanie Brown as Director of Ethics and Compliance.

Brown has more than 15 years of experience in regulatory compliance and business ethics, including strategizing, monitoring, and implementing global compliance programs and risk mitigation initiatives. Her background includes a wide range of industries including, technology, government contracting, cybersecurity, health care, and global trade, and she has litigated cases in family law, personal injury law and medical malpractice.

“I’m excited to join Louis Berger Services because this role aligns with my own core values,” said Brown. “Ethics & compliance is about doing the right thing when no one is looking and that means always acting with integrity and authenticity. I push myself to do my very best in every interaction when I represent ethics & compliance, LBS, and myself.”

Brown received her bachelor’s from Arizona State University and completed law school at Georgetown University Law Center. She is a licensed attorney by the Maryland Court of Appeals and a Maryland State Bar Leadership Academy Fellow. Brown has authored works that have been published in the Compliance and Ethics Professional Magazine and she has also received the US Department of Commerce Gold Star Award for distinguished performance.
