Expertise Provided: Toll Road Facilities Maintenance

Scope: LBS provides performance-based facility maintenance services to Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise, using outcomes-based methodology and lifecycle maintenance practices. The inventory consists of 224 building facilities and structures, 113 generators, 625 HVAC units, 26 lift stations, and 102 backflow preventers along 175-centerline miles of high-speed expressway.  Services are provided on the following corridors of the Florida Turnpike: Turnpike Mainline (SR 91), Homestead Extension of Florida’s Turnpike (SR 821) and Sawgrass Expressway (SR 869).  Our responsibilities include performance based services, work needs assessments, resource management, work activity planning and execution, quality control, compliance to contractual requirements, annual work plan development, and inspection, management and performance of the maintenance of all components of the transportation facility.
