ISO 9001 Certification Awarded to Naval Base in Rota, Spain

LBS is proud to announce that the Air Terminal and Ground Handling Services (ATGHS) team located in Rota, Spain has been awarded an ISO 9001-2015 Certification. The LBS Rota team provides support of the Defense Transportation System at its Naval Station. The certification, achieved in less than a year, is a testament to LBS adopting a robust Quality Management System on-site that will save time and cost, plus improve efficiency and ultimately, customer relationships.

In Rota, LBS services all US Government-owned or operated aircraft, US-sponsored foreign Government or civil aircraft, Coalition Forces aircraft, North Atlantic Treaty Organization aircraft, Strategic Airlift Capability Heavy Airlift Wing aircraft, commercial contract aircraft, and commercial tendered aircraft. Our extended team of nearly 200 Spanish nationals facilitates on-time aircraft departures and maintains the ability to provide sustained ATGHS for a working Maximum on Ground (MOG) capability of three wide-body aircraft.
